i thought so at first too but when i went to bestbuy and all, the 30d was smaller than the 40d

i have no idea O.O i should ask him about it. the nikon d60 is great, but when it was compared it it's canon counterpart the canon rebel series i find the picture quality for canon (default mode for both) to be much better for reason. however, the canon rebel series seems like a toy in my hands, and the body just doesn't feel "right".

just one big detail that the canon d series turns me off is the mode wheel thingy xD it's on the left! >.> i'm right handed so when handling it, i had a very hard time. x_X my photography teacher told me that i wanted to look into the nikon that was about the same level for a canon "40d" it would be the nikon d90. another problem, it's one large camera and i had a hard time getting a grip on it.

photoshop! i'm still a newbie at it but i'm doing quite well with it thanks for photography class -whew-

but just to make it fair for canon&nikon, and also give myself a chance (haha) i was thinking of buying the nikon d60 from costco since they have a 90 day return policy (x and see how the nikon works out for me :D
